Food for Angel,Tetra,Platy etc

Postby FishTank » Mon Apr 27, 2015 11:56 pm

i'm going to make a new tank and planning to keep angel, tetra, platy, molly, etc small fishes.
what is the best food for them ?
currently feeding tokyo pellet food to my gold fishes which cost rs100 for 250gm of pack from lfs.
i wanna try better option but not too expensive.
do i need different type of food for gold fishes and angel or tetra ?
should i feed same food every day or need to add variety at different day ?

Variety is always better..for tetras, azoo micropellet is cheap yet very good, hikari, tetra all the brands have micropellets/flakes. I am currently using tetra brand for zebra danios. Occasional treat of frozen worms are also good. U can also buy tetrabits from galiff. Angels are NOT suitable tankmates for smaller tetras.

That's tokyu food u r using btw. :)

tetra min is undoubtedly the best food for teras and even angels.though a bit pricey as compare to terabits but it lasts for a longtime.
am not a fan of hikari micropllets as it caused bloat in my cards once.

Go for Hikari micropellets and tetra min alternatively for tetras. Hikari comes for Rs 190 - 210 for 22 gms at Gallif. You can purchase online too. Angel and platys will accept most food.
This hobby is consistently draining my pocket
