Semi Aquatic plants for overhead sump

Postby santa123 » Wed Oct 21, 2015 9:23 am

For my 6'x2'x2' monster tank I have gone for 1 canister and overhead sump. And for just experiment I have placed few money plants in my overhead sump hoping these will reduce Amoniam//Nitrate. Sump is of dimension 13'x11'x7.9'. I am using ceramic rings, Substrate & Substrate Pro.

After a month I found very good growth in all of the sticks and new leaves has come out from everywhere hope it is serving the purpose(did not measure the parameter). Its looks cool and natural.

I want to increase the no of plants in the overhead sump.

Request you to suggest some non-harmful plants which I can add in my sump.

please correct me if I am wrong anywhere.
