thanks for the complement....but one problem i got recently...first few dayes it was very active but recently it is floating top of the tank without much movement. And also its fin is not erect as earlier and getting twisted like a thread. otherwise apetite is fine with no issue...

changing water every three dayes.

what can be the problem? if it is at all a problem?

i dont c any filter either...

although I agree with you on the 4 gallons part, live plants and filters aren't always a mandate with betta. In fact bettas hate flow and get stressed if there's even medium flow. So better to avoid filter and up the water changes.

Cheers,

Karthik

Dada, i said recomended(not mandate ;))
I prefer either a filter or some plants to keep the water healthy.
Betta happen to come from swamps with very dense plants nd hence they love plants. Mimicking a habitat while kewping the water clean is the best think we can do and i know that you too believe in the same.

Dear9, ur fish is beautiful. Please try providing the things he needs to thrive...

ok sir only option is i will put one amazon sword by tomorrow itself.

Yea, I feel its better u do daily water changes. Also a little more substrate so that u have more surface area for the good bacteria to grow on. Coz I think that tank is very small to even house a proper filter

Yes no room for filter only can use sponge but that also will consume much space
