You can still save the eggs. Put them in fine net and keep in moderate water flow :)

Ok Buddy not a severe problem ...you can try the below tip ....am not some experts ....but am quite sure it will work
1) remove the assassins ...they are hunters 25 means they can annihilate all the snails..... the whole tank if you even have 200 snails in 10 days . So plz remove then first.
2) Remove the filter ...replace it with a sponge filter ....if not then cover the inlets ....very well with sponge ....the sponge must be fine ....like a daphnia should not get inside ....shrimplets are generally get sucked a lot by filter so check that.
3) Try some mixed RCS .... there should be a good quantity of RCS ....
Let me know if that worked for you
my 2 cents
Have fun with hobby :)

@sourav - can't do that, don't want to spook other berried female in the process :(
@bedouinjoy - yes, I got to remove the assassins asap. I have already got the sponge on the HOB intake and added a new batch of cherries and wood shrimp. I am seeing some new berried females today, hope to see some babies soon :)

Thanks for your inputs friends :)

Yeah I know, and I meant the same too :) actually I have lot of java moss in this tank, so even netting a cherry is tricky, let alone their eggs.
This is where they usually molt and discard their eggs.
Here's a pic for you:

Pulsarabhi,I too had the same problems.but now everything is fine.
Patience is the key to success. let the shrimp have their time.the females are getting berried for the first time and they don't know how to response or care for them.
Let the nature take their course and you will have tons of shrimplets:)

Thx pratik, no progress on the babies yet. I am moving to a new place shortly, and will have to redo my tanks once there. Hoping things will be better there :)

Quick update - I am finally starting to see baby shrimps :D:D

Like was advised here, I took out most of the assassin snails and added 2 new batches of shrimps bought from different sources. Added more pelia moss to serve as hiding places for babies... Dont know which of these made the difference, but it worked. Thank you all for the help :mrgreen:

@pulsarabhi ... Wow nice tank and shrimps ... how are the shrimplets doing now ? I am having a mixture of Rcs and wood shrimp and recently saw shrimplets in tank , but not all shrimplets are red in color only very few 3 out of 10 ... Is this symptom of cross breeding ?
