Nothing special, I have just inserted the CO2 pipe into HOB inlet. HOB does the rest :)

and half of the CO2 you inject degasses on its way back to the tank.

I know there is a lots of wastage of CO2. So I choose plants carefully. I had ceramic diffuser. But only ceramic diffuser wont diffuse well. It needs good circulation. Adding so much stuff in a 1ft cube is not aesthetic. So.....

Don't take it otherwise brother, but "Baat kuch jaami nehi" as I've bit doubt about the net qty of Co2 that will dissolve in tank water & spread in form of tiny bubbles???
Is there any alternate diy diffusion procedure by keeping HOB as constant?
Thanks & regards

yes there is.broomstick diffuser, cigarette diffuser, power filter diffuser. According to me first two are not at all effective. they are like bubble stone. Besides they need good flow. I was using HOB with a strong yeast formula. I had 4 tetra in that tank. They all died next day. So I lowered the CO2 flow. Now everything seems to be fine. i dont have much demanding plants. Rotala is growing fast (avg 1.5 cm per week) DHG is green and seeding. Anubias is growing a leaf per week. Actually my tank is small so I think CO2 requirement is less. May be I am wrong. But my HOB truly brakes the CO2 in fine bubbles

DHG seeding? I thought that happens only when it is grown immersed? Submerged DHG should throw out runners IME. I saw your DHG still has those seeds, are you sure they have turned to submerged form?

Yeah you are right. When i got, It had fruit. Now it is seeding. Soon the seeding stem will die and give rise to new runner and plant. If they dont get optimum condition, they immediately turns brown when submersed.
