The King is No More

Postby aquarajan » Thu Aug 06, 2015 8:10 am

Rest in peace the Master
in the green kingdom you did create.
The king will speak no more,
fathoms underwater lay all regrets.

You taught, you guided, you inspired
thousands who drenched their hands.
You flared up, lives like a guiding star,
Forests Underwater with your magic wands.

There are millions of more who'd come,
generations who'll follow your ways.
The king will forever remain one,
Long live your legend in nature's embrace.

Who was that man?????
who showed the world that planted tanks can be made natural when the entire world was feeling bored of dutch style.
who took on the west and popularised the art of east in every corner of the globe.
who was able to cheer up folks like me who work day and night with hectic job schedule and yet theres something called NA to cool things up.
who founded a company selling A-Z stuffs needed for a planted aquarium(forget the prices which is not under his control but, atleast he did it who can afford to).
who showed the world how to bring the effect of nature into large tanks .
who popularised over 100 plants in the hobby.
who stated that aquarium photography just like the tank is equally important and its very much possible with old stuffs too.
who brought the concept of hardscape into the forefront.
and many more..............
I am not a fan of ADA but i was a die-hard fan of this man. ^:)^ ^:)^
and with its departure the world of planted aquariums stands shocked.
and believe me that none of those show-piece IAPLC tanks can stand before the smallest of Amano's.
Its those old school Amano models that got me into planted tank hobby and those are the ones that are still favourite.
his works will remain as a a legacy for generations to come.
and even if most of the sciences come from the west, its the japanese and the chinese that dominate the art and they have perfected it.and Amano was their undisputed boss.
RIP the king and theres still no aquascaper ever born on this earth like that man who can challenge him .he was class apart........
and nature mourns at the loss of somebody who did so much for her.
