Hi Folks,
Here is an update on the ADA Mimi-M tank as it closes in on week 12.
The rotolas have started to add colour to the background and if the A. reneckii keeps fighting against the odds, I will get a little splash of much needed colour once it breaks through the surrounding vegetation. I have some Staurogyne Repens planted at the back and if they attain their 10cm height, they will show up nicely in the gap without closing it (I want a sense of space and depth). They are growing well and hopefully the trend will continue. The H. tripartita is finally showing some growth and I aim to train them across the lower part of the bog wood in the coming weeks. Otherwise I have only maintenance in mind and no new planting plans.
Overall I am happy to have achieved my goal of not using pressurized CO2 and maintain a tank with plants that provides shade and hiding places for the inhabitants.
Thanks for looking :)
