Thanks for the info, :) , but chetla is so far, it will take a whole day to bring soilrite. I will try it next time, for now I re-started it with a layer of ganga mati beneath it.
I also made a DIY spray bar. Looks funky, but works (wish it was black coloured).
I ordered ferts from here: http://www.ebay.in/itm/Micros-and-Macro-Nutrients-set-for-live-aquarium-plants-500ml-500-ml-/141806006820?hash=item21044bf224:g:ObMAAOSwDNdV1AT5
Right now I have one 12W submersible fluorescent light, will be buying another one soon.

@nirmalyawb1 Thanks :)

@SanamMarik I will get one of it.

I think the unidentified plant is Sagittaria Platyphylla or Broad Leaf Sagittaria, not sure still.
The pricey one still not identified maybe some kind of Narrow Leaf Anubias, BTW what is the price of Anubias in Gallif?

As of now the plants growth rate is slow, some of them yellowed out and died.

After one week of dosing ferts the plants stopped melting, but the growth is very slow. I think it's time to upgrade the lights.

@SanamMarik The T5 lights that you suggested are not a option to me because I have a hood that is exactly 2 feet, I can hardly fit in 1 of those 2 feet T5 diagonally still having the risk of water getting splashed on the connection points. I couldn't find any tubes less than 2 feet length.

According to the 7-9 lm/sq.inch formula I will require about 2000-2600 lm to get sufficient light.
I have two options here,
Firstly, I can hardly fit in 4 of those submersible fluorescent lights, which maybe able to give more than 2000lm. I can't find a generic datasheet of those lights, still not sure about their lm output. These have advantages like low profile, small size, low cost, easy setup, and relatively lower operating temperature and disadvantages like low quality, no reliability.
Secondly, I can use two 20W CFL, which will give 1400-1600lm each (more than enough). If I use these I will have to use some kind to reflector tape above it to increase it's efficiency. These have advantages like high quality, reliability, low cost and disadvantages like high operating temperature, not very good at places with constant water evaporation and condensation, setup cost.

LED tubes are very expensive not within my budget each 10W led tubes gives about 700lm which cost Rs 500 each, but they have many advantages though.

So which one should I go for?
